About

The Vampire Library is a pathfinder project designed to guide young adults through the realm of vampire literature. The recent popularity of the Twilight seres has brought new vigor to this genre and created a whole new generation of Vampire fans.

With the plethora of books available, as well as movies, TV series, and other resources, the curious reader may need some guidance in selecting their next venture. Those wishing to learn more about vampires also face a tough feat because vampire legend and lore is very lengthy and varied, and good sources of information can be hard to find.

Because of these needs, this pathfinder has three main goals:

  • Guide young adults to reading materials that they may not have been aware of before
  • Provide historical and cultural resources about Vampires
  • Provide opportunities for a deeper reading experience or further learning

Selection Process

Resources for this pathfinder were selected for their contents and relevance to the subject. Each resource was evaluated for its reliability and usefulness. Resources must meet the criteria of relevance, timeliness, and/or interest.

Sources include:

  • Notable news outlets like the BBC and Reuters
  • Publishing companies like Penguin Books
  • Experts in relevant fields, including MDs and PhDs, Religious leaders, and scientists
